A local owner is always available for your needs. Local owners work to make sure that the most qualified and reliable sitters are available for your sitting needs. Community is important to SeekingSitters and each local office is actively involved in their community.

Meet your Sitter
I personally work for you to find the best sitter match for your family. After the sitter is assigned you can meet her virtually and even chat online to ask questions or give details about your family.
Our goal is to make the entire process as seamless as possible for you and we handle the rest!
Activities and Fun
Your sitter will arrive at your home with activities and games prepared for your children's preferences and ages. We have seen how exciting it is when the professional sitter arrives on your doorstep with their bag full of activities.
When you book a regular event, talk to me about preschool and school aged activities that can be purchased on a monthly basis.

FAQ
Last Minute Services
SeekingSitters service is designed to help your on-the-go family! Over 40% of weekly filled requests are made last minute or with under 7 day’s notice. Your monthly service fee will be activated at the time of the request.
Booking and Cancellations
A non-refunable reservation amount will be charged at the time of the booking. This reservation amount is applied towards the final job total. 48 hours prior to the event, the full fee for the scheduled event will be charged and cannot be refunded after this time.
A cancellation fee will apply for any event that has been scheduled with a professional sitter.
Gratuity
Gratuity is not required but is highly suggested. The amount is at the discretion of the member.
The gratuity can be added directly to the ticket at the end of the event.
Payment Method
In order to help ensure the validity of our families, SeekingSitters only accepts credit or debit card payment for all babysitting services. Credit card accounts must be in the name of one of the SeekingSitters member and registered to the address of the babysitting event.
Please note that all transactions are processed through SeekingSitters online payment processing vendor, OBT (Online Business Transactions) and your credit card statement will reflect OBT 1(800) 557-5189.
Extended Driving Area
A $10.00 destination charge per event applies for families in the extending driving area and the fee is paid directly to your sitter. This is not a mileage compensation.
Please contact SeekingSitters regarding details of extended driving areas. All driving arrangements must be made directly with your sitter.
Overnight Babysitting Help
SeekingSitters can accommodate just about any situation that you might need babysitting help: Overnight stays, Weekend help, Sitter accompaniment on vacations.

Group Events
Certified Sitters can be scheduled to help ease your special event by caring for the children so the adults can relax. The website has an easy registration process for no additoinal charge. Sitters arrive with activities for the children or can coordinate with your event planner. Weddings, Conferences or Parties are just some of the ways to utilize group event services.

Jasmine B has been absolutely wonderful to my 10 month old daughter! My baby is very selective with who she will let hold her, but from the moment she met Jasmine, she has not cried or tried to stay close to Mommy. Jasmine is very attentive to her, reads & plays with her as well as helps reinforce teaching her sign language. I know that she is in loving hands which gives me all the reassurance I need.
We really appreciate all the little things Lauri does for Vines. Vines loves spending time with Lauri. She puts a lot of time and effort into planning quality activities for Vines. It is easy to see she truly cares for the children. SeekingSitters does a great job finding amazing sitters.
Mindy was our first experience with Seeking sitters and was a great sitter for our daughter. They played Yahtzee that night and since then we've played it with her several times as a family.
I couldn't wait contact you,clearly. I haven't been home long or had a chance to speak with Breonna yet. However,I am more than pleased with the service that I have received. I spoke with Didi not long after she picked Breonna up from the gym. She had a few questions,but was able to take off and go. When I came home,she provided a quick rundown on what happend today. She finished cooking dinner and fed Bre. My daughter is bathed, fed,and knocked out right now. Nothing in my home is out of place. After Didi left, I noticed the activity log that she had filled out,on my counter. I loved that. I know that she was not only caring for my child,but paying such a close attention to every detail. Then I noticed dishes on my counter. This is significant,because Didi washed every dish that she and Breonna used today,including the pots. She also washed a couple of dishes that I left sitting the sink. I wasn't expecting,asking,or requiring that she clean any dishes.It is quite okay if she leaves them in the sink or the dishwasher if it's free,but she didn't,and she cleaned mine. Although,she cleaned them,she left them for me to put where I want them to go. I LOVE THAT. I cannot stand when a guest comes to visit,and I have to look for my own belongings,after they live. I know we said that this would be a trial. I can tell you,that unless Breonna wakes up in the morning and has some horror story to tell me, which I anticipate the exact opposite, I will definitely continue to utilize Didi's services for as long as she is available. Being a singlemom, I worry the entire time that I am not with her,but now I know that I can continue to go to my classes and be at ease. Thank you so much, E
Christine was great. When I got home, my four year old daughter was sitting on her lap and before even saying hello, she said "I love this girl!" I felt very comfortable leaving and did not worry a bit for the 6 hours I was out. I would definitely request Christine again The next time I need a sitter.

My daughter has a blast each and every time Shannan comes to sit with her. I admit, I get slightly envious that I can't leave my home office to go and play with them. They sound like they are having sooo much fun.

When Lauri says she comes prepared with art activities, games, puzzles and music, she means it! My 2 year old is always eager to see what activities Lauri has in her big bag. Lauri even has activities planned for my 5 month old. She is a fantastic sitter and helps my children to learn while they play together.

We were definitely pleased with Barbara! She watched our 2 kids along with a neighbor's child on New Year's Eve and did a fabulous job...even into the wee hours of the morning. Before we left, we noticed that she had already gotten the kids engaged in a dancing game, and she was dancing right along with them. She was very kind and polite. I was impressed with how she had the children clean up their eating area and put away ALL of their toys. She also ran the dishwasher and hand washed some more delicate dishes....all without being asked! I would highly recommend Barbara to other parents, and will specifically ask to use her again in the future. Thank you Seeking Sitters for sending us such a competent caretaker.

Lisa has such a gentle, loving presence that children are naturally drawn to her. Both my newborn infant and 3.5 year old sons adore her. She not only takes care of my infant's physical needs when she cares for him, but also reads to him, cuddles him, and does other various activities to help with his development. She helps get my 3.5 year old son ready for preschool and gets him to brush his teeth without a fuss! I cannot express how much she has helped my family with the new addition to our family. She is loving, dedicated professional.
I can not say enough about Barbara. She has taken such excellent care of my two children. She has a very Happy and Calm demeanor that small children can easily understand. we felt very confident with Barbara as our Babysitter. Barbara has experience with child care and a nursing background. She does everything and more to make sure that I children are well taken care of so we can enjoy ourselves.
